• Be accountable for increasing the output of your team and neighboring teams you influence. You care about your team and the teams around you.
• Engineering management is both engineering and management, you will drive technical excellence and support the careers of the people you manage.
• Ensure close collaboration between product and tech, this starts with you and the product managers in your team.
• Focus yourself and your team on outcomes rather than activity. Avoid busy work by aggressively prioritizing what your team is working on.
• Furthermore, you establish the right engineering practices with the team (e.g. TDD, CI/CD, Agile Methodologies, etc.), to improve quality and time-to-market and improve our lean and agile engineering practices, processes and productivity by advocating our values and leadership principles
