WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Build and maintain 1-2 teams of 3-5 high-performing engineers.
  • Set goals with and provide regular, constructive feedback to individuals and the team.
  • Collaboratively set the team’s quarterly commitments and provide updates to leadership on execution progress, risks, and timeline.
  • Guide team in triage and resolution of production issues with careful assessment of impact on infrastructure or service operations.
  • Communicate development design decisions to technical and non-technical team members.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers within the engineering organization.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Work closely with engineering leaders and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
  • Drive improvement in the design and quality of our platform.
