Salary B2B: 27 000 - 35 000 PLN net

We’re currently seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our team for the Coiote IoT Device Management Platform at AVSystem. Coiote offers a comprehensive solution for efficient, secure, and scalable IoT device control. Our platform emphasizes standardized interoperability, data management, secure provisioning, OTA firmware updates, and seamless cloud integration.
As the Engineering Manager, you’ll support and collaborate with developers, driving innovation through our Anjay SDK/LwM2M Client integration, and accelerating IoT development for our clients and partners.

We are specifically looking for someone who meets the following criteria: Worked as a Software Engineer with IT-related studies, and at least 2 years of experience as an Engineering/People Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced knowledge of adapting suitable methodologies for team collaboration (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, XP, Waterfall)
  • Advanced knowledge about Risk Management
  • Advanced knowledge in time management, employee development methods (such as PMP, GROW method, talent recognition, career pathing, management 3.0), and building career trajectories
  • Advanced knowledge about Effective Communication (feedback, conflict management, negotiation skills and communication influence)
  • OKR, SMART, KPI, defining goals and metrics for themselves, direct reports and team
  • Basic knowledge about labour law in Poland and data security
  • Familiar with tools (Jira, Gitlab, Spreedsheets, AI (GPT, Gemini))
  • Polish and English – fluent
  • Effective communication (People skills, negotiations, meeting facilitation)
  • Programming for JVM (Java, Scala, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud systems

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL INCLUDE:

  • Encourage team members to assume responsibility, and offer helpful feedback to foster ongoing development
  • Maintaining Team procedures by guiding the team through engaged priorities and balance short-term needs versus long-term strategic goals
  • Maintaining people aggrements
  • Improving PMP and other Company’s procedures
  • Increasing transparency and communication
