MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or higher), minimum of 3 years leadership experience managing people with overall 10+ years of development / infrastructure experience.
• Clear written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative and flexible
• Experience with code reviews and test coverage to evaluate and communicate quality information with the team

BONUS EXPERIENCE

• Development experience in Java and Springboot framework or experience in C, C++, Rust and have interest in or existing experience security domain.
• Experience in Test Driven Development.

• Build and manage a team of high performing developers across multiple disciplines in Ottawa, Canada.
• This is a leadership/managerial role with focus on people and process development.
• Sprint planning, reporting and leading relevant team scrums.
• Create a motivational environment for the team as we transition from remote only to a hybrid model.
• Participate in strategic discussions with the engineering leadership and enable team members to deliver upon engineering OKRs.
• Collaborate and work effectively with people in different time zones across different functional disciplines like Product Management, Customer Success, etc.
