  We, at COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS are seeking candidates wanting to commence a Fitter & Turner Apprenticeship, working full time. This 4-year apprenticeship will allow you to gain a Certificate III in Engineering- Mechanical Trade (Fitting & Turning).
  Our host client has over 60 years combined experience servicing local commercial, industrial, infrastructure and manufacturing across Nth Queensland involving projects in mining, marine, food processing and agriculture.
  Based in Innisfail, the successful candidate must reside in Innisfail or close by; be excited to learn, reliable and hard working and hold a drivers license.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a genuine interest to enter the engineering industry
• Year 12 completion ideally
• Certificate I or II Engineering will be highly regarded but not essential
• Previous exposure in metal trades an advantage
• Understand the importance of workplace health and safety
• Construction White Card, or willing to obtain
• Be able to pass a pre employment medical including a drug and Alcohol test

Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification.
