The Engineering Project Manager -Design Services will lead the development of innovative supply chain solutions. Responsible for coaching & mentoring other engineers. Provides regular and proactive communication to customers and NFI leadership. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and leadership experience combined with demonstrated interpersonal and teamwork skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in any of the following areas; transportation management, dedicated fleet operations, distribution center management, materials handling, industrial engineering, decision support systems, and technology
Master Degree preferred
3 years of 3PL experience
Strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing solutions and operations
Manhattan: Labor Management Software (LMS) experience is plus
Data management and manipulation skills
Programming skills to manipulate large data-sets
Experience with routing and scheduling packages and transportation optimization software
AutoCAD and Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Inventory Analysis tools
Strong financial conceptual skills
Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications
Demonstrated data manipulation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
Excellent communications skills.
Experience preparing and presenting oral and written presentations to management and clients
Experience with supply chain technology
Well organized with high attention to detail and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to learn technical skills quickly
Understanding of optimization and/or simulation algorithms
Database skills, especially through SQL or Access
Knowledge in: VBA, Python, R, Java, C++, or C# is a major plus
Travel: 30% or as required to support business needs
