Description:
Our client has a market leading UK presence working with a number of leading blue-chip manufacturing business across Yorkshire and the UK. With a thriving order book supported with significant investment and expansion across their operations, they are now seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their team in the Halifax area. The position offers both personal and career progression opportunities, supported with training and personal development.
Within the Project Manager position you will be responsible for managing a wide range of innovative engineering projects as part of their highly skilled project team. Working with this leading machine and equipment build organisation you will play a key role in overseeing multiple special purpose machinery build, install and commissioning projects, from conception to completion, working with end clients, plus internal sales, design, procurement, manufacturing, and commissioning teams.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the successful execution of all aspects of assigned project delivery including liaising with customers, capturing customer requirements, supporting the project team and working in partnership with colleagues to deliver on commitments
- Project Manage from receipt of order to commissioning – including project scheduling and resource management
- Identification and provision of reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction.
- Tracking and monitoring progress of all allocated projects in terms of: Time, Cost and
- Quality.
- Management of project resource demand and participation in resource levelling through accurate representation of the project demand in the business forecasting system.
- Stakeholder management (both internal and external to customer and suppliers).
- Early and clear reporting, raising and escalation of project issues, risks and potential problems
