Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
Raytheon’s Apertures and RF Department is seeking an Engineering Services Professional to join the Antenna and Microwave Products – Test Product Sustainment team in Dallas, Texas. The department is responsible for full-scope antenna product solutions, spanning architecture trades, design, development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of antenna systems and associated integrated system verification solutions.
This position is an onsite role in Dallas, Texas
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior Engineering Services experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of Engineering Services experience with any combination of the following:
- RF/MW test equipment: signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers and other general use test equipment.
- Test hardware assembly, integration, calibration, and component level troubleshooting
- Engineering technician with background in electrical design support and troubleshooting of systems and board level designs.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Eight (8) years as an engineering technician with background in electrical design support and troubleshooting of systems and board level designs.
- Ability to work from schematics, test requirements including written and oral instructions.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work in a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Troubleshooting experience with chiller systems
- Troubleshooting experience with industrial ovens
- Troubleshooting and repairing experience with robot arms on automated test equipment
- High mechanical aptitude
- Can work independently with minimal supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES TO ANTICIPATE:
- Troubleshooting presently deployed test sets and associated equipment (RF Test Equipment, robot arms, chillers, industrial ovens) in a manufacturing environment.
- Performing preventative maintenance and calibrations Exhibit exceptionally high level of innovation, creativity, and initiative.
- Documenting procedures, processes and reporting of test sets status to be utilized in the investigation of upgrades, obsolescence and improvements to test.
