To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field experience.
  • Experience in administering Siemens COMOS or other similar engineering tools and software.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in various engineering tools and software packages.
  • Experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

As an Engineering Software Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and administering the Siemens COMOS engineering tool used within the organisation. This role will involve ensuring the smooth operation of engineering software, supporting users, and optimizing tool performance to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Administer and maintain engineering tool Siemens COMOS within the organisation.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to users of engineering tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and address tool-related issues and requirements.
  • Conduct training sessions for users to optimize their utilization of engineering tools.
  • Develop and implement best practices for engineering tool administration and usage.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in engineering tools and technologies.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of new engineering tools and software solutions.
