Engineering Stores Person

We are recruiting for a Raw Materials Stores Person for a well established Aerospace Engineering company based on Poole, Dorset.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ideal candidate must have good experience in bonded material stores.
• Experience in the aerospace industry is essential.
• It would be advantageous that the successful candidate would hold a valid forklift licence, although not essential as we will provide training.
• The successful candidate must have a valid driving licence as will be required to drive a forklift on a road once trained.

• Controlling raw material storage and issue, including booking in material from suppliers and reviewing incoming delivery certificates
• Ensuring the production process is uninterrupted due to material issue
• Ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions are applied at all times during the process
• Maintain quality records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
• Loading jobs/material to machines
• Maintaining Airbus Raw Material Stores to a standard that reflects 5C standards.
• Control Raw Material storage and issue
• Identify and maintain traceability of all received material.
• Ensure the highest level of quality control/inspection conditions and Aerospace traceability are applied at all times.
