We are seeking Engineering Students for our Ottawa District, within our Canadian Buildings Division, that are available for 4 months from September 2024 to December 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Working towards a degree or diploma in a civil engineering related field.
- A passion for working in a construction environment.
- Experience with the application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and drafting.
- Self-motivation with a hands-on approach.
- Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts deficiency walks.
- Coordinates and supervises sub-trade work.
- Coordinates quality assurance reviews.
- Takes and coordinates progress photos.
- Tracks site progress and deficiencies.
- Verifies site conditions and coordinates with drawings.
- Coordinates, marks up and updates drawings.
- Coordinates work specific scope and trades.
- Conducts trade quote reviews by verifying material quantities, hours, and rates.
- Inputs and updates deficiency logs.
- Participates in project meetings.
- Performs quantity take-offs.
- Produces as-built drawings.
- Sets-up and maintains record keeping.
