Title: Summer Student – Engineering
Location: Mississauga, Brampton or Burlington
Rate: CAD$24/hour , 40 hours per week.
Duration: May 2024 to Aug 2024

POSITION SUMMARY:

The summer student will be assisting the VP, Engineering and Director Engineering in multiple Projects. Student would assist with troubleshooting and solving problems related to process efficient, product quality, throughput, and yield.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Enrolled as a student in a recognized college or university from an engineer discipline.
  • Strong academic performance in your chosen field of study.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail, excel skills, collaborative approach.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect Data for different processes stream/ lines in the plant
  • Assist in investigation through data compilation and statistical analysis to determine root cause analysis
  • Contribute to process improvement project
  • Acquire and use practical and technical knowledge of the manufacturing process.
  • Assist project managers with the execution of the projects that have been developed, approved and ready to be implemented in the field.
