Here at Serco, we are looking for an Engineering Support Officer to join our growing team at Darent Valley Hospital. The site is a 478-bed, acute district general hospital in Dartford, Kent, serving a local population of over 500,000 people.
As the Engineering Support Officer - Administration you will support the technical team in delivering their responsibilities for providing information relating to life cycle and information for the Department of Health CoBP audit. This role will report directly to the Senior Technical Manager and will form part of a small team of healthcare engineering professionals (the technical team), working alongside the Darent Valley Serco estates operational team.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and ensure that relevant Company policies, procedures and standards are always enforced throughout the contract’s duration. Work with and assist the management team to ensure all services develop and maintain a level of excellence in the delivery of the contractual requirements and customer experience. Contribute to and support the audit, monitoring, and inspection of services. Champion contractual compliance with all statutory, mandatory, and relevant company and client policies. Ensure that the CoBP data is maintained for the accurate recording and management of client information. Support the work required to ensure that financial and commercial risks from any CoBP survey outcomes are appropriately mitigated using the Site Estates Management Information Systems.
What you’ll need to do the role: PC literate with experience using Microsoft Office applications and at least to intermediate Excel skill level. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Effective organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting workloads. Proficient in the develop, use and interpretation of spreadsheets and databases. Strong attention to detail. Experience of working in a complex multi-service environment. Ability to use own initiative in problem solving. Highly self-motivated.
