Description:
Title: Engineering Operations Systems Auditor/Analyst
Department: Engineering
Location: Urbandale, Iowa
Reports To: Vice President of Service Operations
JOB SUMMARY:
In the role of Engineering Operations Systems Auditor/Analyst, you will lead the review of internal systems and tools to ensure that solutions and services are set up properly for client success and to enable effective compatibility with billing automation systems. This role will assist in the documentation of system controls and procedures, as well as providing recommendations for process improvement as appropriate. The goal for this position is to reconcile and maintain system data controls and helping to ensure that future system data remains within IP Pathways standards, enabling scalability for our growing organization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or
- Previous customer service
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a technical role.
- Experience in monitoring software, backup software and other managed services
- Experience in creating and editing written materials and documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working with documentation in a business
- Ability to give feedback to colleagues in a professional and collaborative
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Process development and documentation experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with any of the following tools/systems is preferred: ConnectWise, LogicMonitor, Acronis, Sophos
- Previous training experience is
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with senior
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports, as required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform internal system and tool control reviews to ensure that IP Pathways solutions are implemented properly and that billing automation systems can pull data according to pre-defined processes and procedures.
- Plan and execute audit tasks and responsibilities including the review of work performed by coworkers.
- Maintain documentation of internal system audit related activities.
- Build collaborative relationships across the IP Pathways
- Serve as the subject matter expert from an internal tools and controls
- Drive continuous improvement as related to the use of our tools and systems, as well as the onboarding of clients into IP Pathways’ solutions.
- Provide quality assurance and direct feedback to provisioning teams for accuracy in deployment of technical solutions, as well as deployment variation that could have billing and revenue impact.
- Participate in projects to improve processes and internal training for continued quality improvement of service offerings.
- Work in conjunction with the Engineering Operations Training and Process Manager to ensure that system and tool related processes and procedures are clearly defined and well documented.
- Participate with Leadership in ongoing review of processes and procedures, providing ongoing suggestions for continuous improvement, as appropriate.The position requires in-depth working knowledge of IT infrastructure
