Description:

TL;DR
We are looking for a software engineering team lead who’s a natural leader with a strong technical background, thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and is passionate about mentoring and inspiring their team. As team lead, you will be driving a key strategic mission for us, critical to our global growth ambitions.

WHO WE ARE

Henry Schein One is the world’s leading dental practice management software company, offering the market leading platforms EXACT and Dentally. Whilst we’re part of the ever-growing $600M Henry Schein Group, it’s important to note that we’re a modern product-focused SaaS company, not a large corporate.
Powered by a talented team of over 2,000 people across the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the USA, we are shaping the future of how millions of patients interact with their dental practice and we’re proud to make a positive impact on society.
This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s best employers as recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2023 AND 2024 initiative. As an inclusive and forward-thinking company, we are committed to creating an environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all individuals. We strongly encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS

You are a talented engineer with experience spanning some of the below requirements

  • 2 years+ experience within an engineering team lead position
  • Senior-level full stack engineer with 5+ years of experience
  • Strong at developing applications using .NET, C# and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Extensive SQL knowledge and the ability to write complex, performant database queries
  • Evidencable experience of data migration and ETL practices
  • Evidencable experience working with cloud computing platforms such as AWS & Azure
  • Desirable: Experience with Ruby on Rails

It’s not expected that any single candidate would have expertise across all of these areas - we’re looking for candidates that are particularly strong in a few areas, and have some interest and capabilities in others.
