ENGINEERING TEAM LEAD WITH PASSION FOR TEST AND QUALITY

Then this exciting role is for you!
Shure have lots of exciting projects in the pipeline, and we are looking for a talented Engineering Team Lead who will head up a group of Test Engineers in Edinburgh and Copenhagen.
Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers in Copenhagen and Edinburgh, providing technical guidance and support, and driving continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging AI technologies and tools.
  • Develop and implement effective testing strategies, utilizing AI tools and techniques, to ensure product and software quality.
  • Coordinate testing efforts across the sites, maintaining clear communication and alignment.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and scripts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and quality assurance, to implement AI-driven testing solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices, industry standards, and new testing methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the testing function.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and testing metrics.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and developments in product and software testing.
  • Communicate and present testing strategies, progress, and results to stakeholders effectively.
  • Dynamic working split 60/40 between managing the team and completing engineering tasks.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage successful teams and projects in a fast paced and multinational environment and encourage professional development within the team.
  • Have a willingness to travel and encourage professional development within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of engineers, preferably in a multinational organization.
  • Strong background in product and software testing, including both manual and automated testing techniques.
  • Proficient in test planning, test case development, and test execution.
  • Experience using AI tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Exceptional knowledge of software testing tools and frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
