Responsibilities:
We are looking for a proven results focussed Engineering Team Leader to lead a small, but high performing team and to co-ordinate the maintenance of the site, plant & production equipment to ensure that all equipment required for production is always operating at 100% efficiency.
Further, you will Lead and implement the maintenance strategy and provide support and training to the site personnel when required for the operator maintenance and skills development of the wider team.
Primary Responsibilities of the role include:
- Supervision & coordination of the maintenance team & resources
- Provide effective and efficient support to primarily, Production Leaders & Managers, root cause analysis, fault logging and data entry.
- Perform delivery of maintenance tasks - both TPMO & TPMM, specifically preventative/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance and conduct performance improvement initiatives.
- Identify the root cause of equipment & automation faults/breakdowns and prioritise corrective actions to meet operational objectives in conjunction with team leaders, making full use of the relevant central support systems for data collection.
- Monitor and review day-to-day asset performance and improve equipment, process & automation/robotics outputs. Provide monthly reporting on utilities usage.
- Maintenance Planning; prioritizing, organizing and issuing maintenance work via MEX
- Induction & supervision of contractors carrying out work and ensuring full compliance with H&S
- Accurate and timely completion of all company documentation and records (incl. service records, preventative maintenance checks, maintenance request etc.
- Maintenance and improvement of the site services
- Ensuring regular 1:1 sessions are held with each team member. Develop and support career development plans for each team member.
The ideal candidate will be results oriented with a hands on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy & autonomy and the ability to work in cross functional teams.
