As an Engineering Technician at Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings of an organization. REQUIREMENTS

• Above 1-2 years relevant experience within a similar role.
• Proven leadership ability in handling and coordinating different teams.
• Previous experience in a similar role – advantageous.
• Experience within the luxury hospitality industry – advantageous.
• Hospitality experience advantageous, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be innovative and creative.

  International exposure will be considered a plus. You must speak English. Additional languages, such as Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, French and German, are a benefit. We welcome a diversity of backgrounds, ethnicities and religions.
  Experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus, but not a necessity. You could be from an independent restaurant or bar, have worked in luxury retail or private villas, or be a tour guide.

• Work with the Engineering team, as well as the day-to-day duties of the depot operation and all other maintenance related to the train
• Task carried out accordingly to the yearly maintenance plan
• Ensure that day to day and periodic maintenance inspections of electrical, HVAC, Refrigeration and esthetical and all other necessary maintenance systems are undertaken in accordance with the maintenance plan
• Ensure that maintenance activities conform with required standards
• Develop and refine maintenance standards and practices
• Ensure daily assign task to technicians are complete according to the schedule and the required standards
• Ensure all Carriages and depot yearly HSSE safety checked task are up to date.
• Ensure all HSSE report and document are upload into engineering google drive
• Attend HSSE training provided by belmond
• Maintain Depot structures and equipment at the highest standards of hygiene, safety and security.
