Description:

Wisetek currently has a requirement within the Engineering department for a Test Technician. The primary responsibilities are to perform hands-on technical operational/production support in a professional and friendly manner. The role would also include NPI project work from development through pilot to full scale manufacturing. Travel & off-site project work opportunities

DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma/Cert in Computer Science or similar
  • At least 2 years’ testing experience in an IT/Test technical support role
  • Strong understanding of Client & Enterprise class hardware
  • Familiar with Erasure/test software applications
  • Comprehensive understanding of Hard Disk Drive (HDD) and Solid-State Drive (SSD) technology
  • Software C, C++, Python, XML, Java an advantage
  • Experienced with Linux, Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision 2017 - desirable
  • Practitioner of ISO 9001 QMS & ISO 14001 Standards - desirable
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Excellent analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Tech savvy

  • Willingness to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Support Test Engineering with test/diagnostic solution development & production readiness
  • Production Technical support across all divisions, including but not limited to ITAD, MFG, RLO
  • Production uptime management. First point of contact on resolving tester downtime & escalating in accordance with SLA agreements
  • Identify opportunities for process & test enhancements. Deliver Continuous improvement feedback from production to process/test Engineering
  • Support Process Engineering with activities related to New Product & Process Implementation
  • Write well-structured work instructions, ensuring all related documentations are maintained and kept up to date
  • Deliver training of test solutions to the production team
  • Support IS&T with the Network infrastructure & Test to ERP platform integrations
  • Division, End Of month/Quarter SupportAssist with Customer Onsite Services jobs, including but not limited to onsite Erasure, Asset takeout, Datacentre asset discovery & moves.
