ENGLISH TEACHER (H/F)

at  EM Normandie

We are recruting a position for a part time teacher with a possible 120 -150 hours, starting early September and finishing mid- December, with the possibility of giving them more hours in the new year if things work out at EM Normandie Business School Dubin.
We are looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic educators with a strong background in education and teaching English language
The teacher who has some experience teaching Business English/IELTS preparation, ideally both equally at ease in AE and GE ( Academic English and General English) from A2 – C1.
Main Duties:

Lecturing

• giving class at EM Normandie Dublin
• comply with the course contents defined at the beginning of the academic year, and to communicate them to the students on the first session (Learning Outcomes & Objectives, Course Plan, Modes of Assessment, Bibliography) and be creative
• Train the students for the TOEIC EXAM
• Understand and follow the school procedures and syllabus
• Preparation of the lesson plan and submit it to the director of studies and the programme assistant
• Prepare the Semester examination papers and continuous assessment tests and model answers, together with assessment grids.
• To take part in the organization of Campus and School events

Competencies:

• Experience in teaching in a business school is appreciated.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Communicate effectively with academic department and co-teachers regarding student attendance engagement, work in progress
