ABOUT YOU
We are looking for the right person, with a good attitude who will be a solid team fit with the following skills and experiences: -
- You need to have extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect.
- You have proven experience of working in AI/Gen AI projects or initiatives
- Proven experience of building proof of concept and defining architectural patterns
- Tertiary or equivalent qualification/s in relevant technical fields
- Proven experience of directing the discussion of issues and considerations for adopting an open architecture
- Proven experience of consulting on planning, integrating and migrating enterprise architecture
- Experience with formal architectural methods for eg TOGAF
- Extensive experience in domain / enterprise / solution / technology architecture space in a large organisation, preferably financial industry

Responsibilities:
You are part of an Enterprise Architecture and Governance team whose contribution is to develop strategic architectures that bring to life the IAG strategy and support portfolio alignment to strategy and the enterprise architecture. Some of the key responsibilities that you will perform is :-
- Develop and maintain an Enterprise Architecture that aligns business / technology strategy to portfolio execution.
- Support portfolio concept architecture, x-journey impact assessment and x-portfolio technology interdependencies.
- Provide technical guidance on Gen AI project initiatives. Ideally, you are a hand-on experimenter and have implemented some Gen AI tools and have strong opinions in this space based on “builder experience”.
- Maintain and govern the integrity of the product and technical architecture in collaboration with portfolio managers, broader product & architecture team and platforms.
- Take an “open source” approach to evolving enterprise architecture by providing guardrails and advocating the development of product and enterprise architecture artefacts from broader architecture community and externally as well.
- Maintain oversight of solutions that span multiple journeys to ensure they are coherent and integrated in alignment with endorsed architectures and approaches
- Broker key architecture decisions across within Technology and also within Federated IT landscape to ensure solutions that span multiple journeys / domains are coherent and intregrated in alignment with endorsed architectures and approaches.
This is a full time, permanent role that is open to people based anywhere in Australia and New Zealand.
This role offers flexible working conditions that support a mix of working from home and being in the office.
