Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, learning areas leaders and school leaders to capture the current state technology landscape and desired future state
  • Establish an architecture practice (virtual team, framework, tools) with a strong focus on facilitating the desired business outcome and informed decision-making
  • Leverage industry expertise and best practices to develop and maintain currency of the school’s “current state,” “future state” architecture and roadmap
  • Define and implement architecture governance and principles
  • Evangelise and share architectural best practices across all levels
  • Provide thought leadership and evangelise and share architectural best practices across all levels
  • Collaborate with lead solution engineers to ensure technology selection, solution design and any trade-offs are effectively managed and reflected in the architecture
  • Maintain currency on trends and emerging technology innovations in the school (Kindergarten to year 12) sector
  • Collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders and customers so diverse perspectives and needs are incorporated into the architecture plan and roadmap
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships throughout the school community.
