Job Summary:
As an Enterprise Cloud Architect at HOOPP, you’ll be at the forefront of our cloud transformation journey, collaborating with diverse teams to optimize cloud technologies within the IT Division. Your role involves leading the implementation of cloud architecture solutions, establishing, and maintaining cloud standards, and fostering a DevOps culture. Through effective communication and collaboration, you’ll drive cloud adoption initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals. Your continuous innovation and technical expertise will be crucial in guiding our organization towards scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with the infrastructure and application teams across the IT Division to assess the current state of cloud technologies and form a plan for streamlining and consolidating them.
• Establish DevOps and CI/CD pipeline to be leveraged across technology teams resulting in faster time to market and taking advantage of cloud offerings.
• Create and maintain cloud standards and patterns based on business requirements and industry best practices.
• Partner with different technology teams to optimize cloud resources, configurations, and workflows to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
• Design Scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architecture solutions that leverage the full potential of cloud services and technologies.
• Establishing and apply enterprise architecture frameworks to align IT strategy with business goals while ensuring alignment with HOOPP’s objectives through governance.
• Participate in meetings with stakeholders, including infrastructure and application teams, to assess current state, plan strategies, and discuss solutions.
• Lead cloud architecture initiatives and fostering cloud adoption within the organization.
• Interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, conveying technical concepts in a comprehensible manner, and collaborating with diverse teams.
• Remain updated with evolving technologies and methodologies in the field of enterprise architecture.
• Assess cloud technologies, identifying areas for improvement, and devising strategies for optimization.
• Address technical debt and optimizing cloud resources through creative problem-solving.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in Information Technology.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in the architecture area, with a focus on cloud.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud technologies, with proficiency in Azure and AWS preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native services, architecture, and deployment models. Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in popular enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Knowledge of BPM methodologies and tools for business process analysis, design, implementation, and optimization.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, storage systems, databases, and cloud services.
• Familiarity with various software development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and DevOps, and understanding their impact on enterprise systems architecture and deployment.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat modeling, risk management, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
