Looking for two FTE Enterprise Datacenter Engineers. Datacenter engineers will engineer, design, implement and troubleshoot datacenter networking systems across the county in VA owned and leased spaces. They will lead implementations with multiple VA teams to accomplish mission goals. This LCAT has been identified as resident engineer. Resident engineer must meet the following requirements:
1. Expertise with Cisco Datacenter Nexus switching Cisco Routers and F5 Network load balancers.
2. Expertise with designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise level large, multi-site, multi-vendor Datacenters.
3. Expertise in Automation of networking and server installation, vulnerability remediation, and configuration updates.
4. Expertise with engineering and migrating to IPv6.
5. Demonstrated success using modern DevOps methods and tools including automated testing tools and monitoring tools.
6. Demonstrated ability to drive frequent release cycles (daily/weekly).
7. Minimum Education Level - Current CCIE Datacenter Certification IS A PLUS, BUT NOT REQUIRED
8. Minimum 15 years’ Experience as a datacenter engineer spanning multiple locations.
