The Enterprise Digital Communications Manager is responsible for creating internal/external plans, programs and communications for stakeholders within the firm to support the rollout of new technology and enterprise digital communications. The position will be responsible for building strong relationships and developing multi-channel, compelling strategies, tactics and communications deliverables to inform, engage and align stakeholders with RSM’s Digital programs and major technology rollouts.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • BA/BS in communications, English or Journalism (required)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Exceptional writing and edition skills (required)
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint (required)
  • Workfront, Smartsheet, Wrike or similar (preferred)
  • SharePoint (preferred)
  • Viva Engage (preferred)

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of corporate communications experience (required)
  • Demonstrated experience defining and managing communications strategy for a business unit, related to digital (data, analytics, cloud, AI, cybersecurity, metaverse, etc.) (required)
  • Ability to digest complex issues and topics and communicate them in a way that is easily understood by targeted internal and external audiences (required)
  • Proven ability to lead communications for the rollout of new technology in complex, highly matrixed organizations (required)
  • Change management experience in technology in complex, highly matrixed organizations (required)
  • Effective presentation and communications skills (required)
  • Ability to learn new subject areas quickly (required)

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Highly collaborative and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders to achieve results (required)

    Compensation Range: $100,000 - $171,100
    Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the communications leader on the CMG team in support of Enterprise Digital technology rollouts with cross-collaboration as needed with our lines of business and enterprise functions
  • Develop communications strategies, tactics and communications deliverables in alignment with Enterprise Digital vision, purpose, values and strategies
  • Participate in strategy meetings with CMG team, digital leadership team and business leaders as appropriate to build out communications plans
  • Plan, develop, create and execute marketing campaigns and materials with a technical focus that targets specific internal and external audiences
  • Identify and present opportunities for consistency in messaging across channels, ensuring connectivity and alignment with other strategies and initiatives (LOB, industry, global, innovation, market economics, etc.) (20%)
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to effectively strategize and execute communications to support Enterprise Digital technology rollouts with cross-collaboration as needed with our lines of business and enterprise functions
  • Establish clear communications goals and tactics by understanding stakeholder needs and what is changing for them, and selecting appropriate communication channels for audiences
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal clients to better develop, coordinate, direct and facilitate strategic communications to meet business goals
  • Collaborate with marketing communications counterparts across CMG teams and in other functions as needed to ensure that communications are planned, sequenced and integrated across the enterprise to effectively communicate to needed stakeholder groups (30%)
  • Develop compelling content and related strategies that inform, engage and inspire
  • Write and edit communications for internal and external audiences in a clear, creative manner that informs, engages and inspires appropriate behaviors and actioning, including developing templates to be used in the fields with a focus on integrating messaging across various programs and channels, wherever possible.
  • Coordinate the logistics of communications campaigns to ensure that all communication and materials (from copy to graphics) are delivered on time and through the proper channels
  • Publish and deliver content through the firm’s internal and external communications platform, including RSM Power, webcasts, intranet, social media and web site
  • Ensure ongoing development and usage of template, toolkits and meetings in a box to drive consistent messaging throughout within RSM
  • Monitor and evaluate program for continuous improvement (30%)
  • Actively participate in communication team and Enterprise Digital meetings to share ideas and insights to continually improve communication processes, tools and results (10%)
  • Actively build relationships with team members and key stakeholders (10%)
