Responsibilities

REQUIRED MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong finance and accounting experience with extensive experience with enterprise financial systems and general ledgers.
Lawson experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Strong foundation and experience in Fixed Asset accounting functions.
Pay Range
$27.84 - $40.36 /hou

Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE

This position will be responsible for fixed assets, project costs and other related transactions processed for Dignity Health entities. This includes recording and reconciling assigned accounts in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with GAAP and CommonSpirit Health policy. This position will provide support to the project/business owners for capital budget reporting and project controls.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Monitor records for assigned fixed assets to ensure reports are complete and accurate.
  2. Provide support to project/business owners to ensure balances are appropriate and to ensure capital expenditure activity is recorded timely and accurately.
  3. Monitor additions, retirements and adjustments and transfers of all corporate wide fixed assets.
  4. Conduct analysis related to fixed assets to ensure that activity roll forwards are accurate and available to project/business owners in a timely manner.
  5. Provide analysis to project/business owners monthly.
  6. Provide support to auditors examining fixed assets and the fixed asset/capital expenditure process.
  7. Stay current with accounting literature and GAAP to ensure accounts are stated in accordance with relevant principles.
  8. Conduct analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management.

NON-ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Other duties as assigned by management.
    Qualifications
    Required Education - Bachelor’s degree, preferrable in Accounting or Business field
    Required Minimum Experience Minimum 3-5 years in accounting preferably in fixed assets in healthcare related industry.
