Description:

Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Enterprise Integration Architect to join our consultancy team, partnering with a prestigious global retail client. You will have extensive experience in the retail sector, managing multiple integrations across various business functions including Finance & Procurement, HCM, WFM, Recruitment, Payroll, and EPOS & Field Support. This role demands a deep understanding of enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and expertise with platforms such as Oracle Fusion, Workday and UKG Pro.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive integration strategy aligning with the client’s business objectives and IT roadmap
  • Design a secure, high-level integration architecture, including data flows, integration patterns, and middleware
  • Oversee the implementation of integration solutions, ensuring alignment with architecture standards and best practices
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship across the programme, ensuring adherence to integration architecture and standards
  • Resolve complex technical issues related to integration, ensuring seamless and efficient data exchange
  • Manage multiple vendors to ensure their systems are integrated effectively, meet requirements and are delivered on time
  • Ensure all integrations comply with local and international regulations, including data privacy and security standards
  • Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data during and after integration

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Certified in a relevant Enterprise Architecture framework e.g. TOGAF
  • Cloud certifications an advantage

Essential skills:

  • Proven experience of managing and delivering complex technology integrations, including APIs, middleware, and data management
  • Strong understanding of retail business processes and systems
  • Able to clearly and persuasively present complex information to senior stakeholders (including C-Suite), effectively influencing decisions and strategic direction
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in an enterprise architecture role, preferably within the retail sector
  • 15+ years of experience in IT, with a strong background in enterprise architecture and system integration
