Exciting opportunity to join our Government & Public Services team within ET&P:
We are seeking to hire an experienced manager to join our expanding team within our Enterprise Technology and Performance portfolio, with a particular focus on delivery in the Government and Public Services industry. You will be a key member of our team delivering transformation with some of our key public sector clients. You will work within highly experienced, diverse, multidisciplinary teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your skill set and experience on large-scale multidisciplinary transformation programmes across many government departments and public sector agencies.

About the role:

  • Work within multi-disciplinary teams delivering for our clients
  • Design and implement best in class innovative solutions
  • Manage programmes to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard
  • This role will give you exposure to a broad range of projects including the design and delivery of operating models, service delivery model design, designing and management of project management offices, business process optimisation and implementing innovative technologies
  • Lead an engagement team, developing strong relationships, knowledge sharing, on the job training and mentoring of junior staff to support professional development
  • Lead the development of proposals for clients including defining the scope, approach, appropriately skilled team and the commercial model, with a focus on public sector procurement
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments, policies, and challenges within finance and performance and within public sector to provide informed advice to clients

About You:

  • A third level qualification in Business, Finance, Strategy or a related discipline
  • Certification in programme/project management is preferable
  • Proven hands-on consulting experience preferably experience working with Government & Public Services clients
  • Ideal candidates will have multidisciplinary experience including programme management, business process design, user centred design, testing and end user training involving multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members, manage group dynamics, and handle challenging situations effectively
  • Proven experience and ability to lead and facilitate workshops with clients to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop actionable plans. Ability to ensure active participation and manage groups of stakeholders
  • Proven experience developing comprehensive business cases to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • A solid understanding of the Irish Public Sector, Public Sector Regulatory and Legal Frameworks, Public Procurement Processes, Timelines and Spending Codes, Cultural Sensitivity and Government Funding Practices
