Entity Specification Engineer

Now we are looking for an Entity specification engineer with a passion for SW development. The person would be contributing into specification, development and testing, and would need basic skills in coding and capability to lead small scale IT projects.
You will be part of an international and multicultural environment. Our headcount in Nokia Tampere is around 1000 people, and we are from 40 different countries. Our team also cooperates with teams at many other sites and professionals worldwide.
What you will learn and contribute to
Your main responsibility will be developing and testing a product which is delivered worldwide to the companies providing mobile services.
You will be part of a team where people are hungry to learn more and excited to do various tasks. The team has good co-operation and a great team spirit where everyone shares their knowledge and skills.

We will require:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering and/or telecom industry
• Experience in component specification of a feature (CFAM CP3)
• Extensive experience in adaptations, metadata generation and Fast Pass blueprint
• Extensive experience in tools used in adaptation and metadata generation (NIDD, VTK, Fast Pass DevOps Portal, Adaptation Specification Center, Adaptation Integration Toolkit)
• Experience in agile (Scrum/Kanban), Jira, Jenkins, Git/Gerrit
• Experience in leading a small-scale IT project and/or group of people
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Knowledge of software testing (DFMEA, testing at different levels, automation, testing tools)
• Understanding of software development (JavaScript, React, NodeJS)
• Good team player, but also an independent problem solver
• Self-driven, seeking and implementing improvements

• Mentoring and enabling other team membersFluent verbal and written communication skills in English
