Embark on an exciting career path as an Entry-Level Mechanical CAD Designer in our innovative product development team. This role is your gateway to professional growth in the field of mechanical design, offering hands-on experience in a range of design and development projects.
We are a young deep-tech company that creates and produces internationally awarded smart glasses. Our headquarters is in Vienna, where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses. From research & development, engineering, production to marketing and sales - we offer everything from a single source under one roof. This will give you exciting insights into other departments of the company. Although we have our roots in Austria, we are “born global” and work with customers and sales partners all over the world.

Tasks

  • Design and develop parts and assemblies using CAD tools, contributing to our innovative product lineup.
  • Work closely with the team to translate design drafts into viable mechanical solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation such as drawings, parts lists, and assembly instructions.
  • Support the development and testing of prototypes, aiding in material procurement and process validation.

Requirements

  • Technical education in mechanical engineering (TU, FH, HTL) required.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in CAD design preferred; newcomers with strong skills welcome.
  • Expertise in 3D CAD software (PTC Creo, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • A basic understanding of manufacturing processes and a good grasp of IT fundamentals.
  • Previous experience in product development and process certification is advantageous.
  • Excellent teamwork capabilities and a strong desire to learn.
  • Proficiency in English is a must; German proficiency is a plus.
  • Valid work authorization for Austria is essential.
