Description:

Tyler Technologies is looking for an innovative, talented, and passionate Software Engineer to join the Civil Process development team. This role suits individuals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative environment that provides opportunities for growth and learning. In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the development and delivery lifecycle, including the deployment of Civil Process products in client environments that are hosted on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will enjoy designing and building new product features, is interested in growing their skills with modern cloud technologies, and is passionate about our existing clients and is committed to working with our operations teams to ensure software is installed and upgraded on-time, and is working as expected in client environments.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Assist in the design and development of responsive, user-friendly applications and software integrations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in a variety of technologies.
  • Develop and maintain automation tests and frameworks.
  • Participate in code reviews and pull requests to ensure code quality and consistency.
  • Assist in providing support and maintenance for both new and legacy software systems.
  • Install, upgrade, and configure production software deployments hosted on-premises and in AWS.
  • Collaborate with operations team members to troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues found in client environments.
  • Drive technical excellence into every aspect of the software development and delivery lifecycle.
  • Continually learn and take initiative to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Cross-pollinate smart ideas and promote learning and knowledge sharing across teams.
