Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to be based in Kansas City, Missouri.
This position is expected to begin in May or June 2024.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Perform analysis and design of transportation structures such as bridges, culverts, and retaining walls under the supervision of experienced engineers.
+ Use computer programs to model and solve engineering problems.
+ Visit job sites and inspect in-service structures.
+ Complete work assignments within budget and schedule.
+ Build knowledge of transportation project development and delivery.
+ Maintain technical learning on route to obtain professional licenses.
Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
  • As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant internship experience.
  • Passed FE exam.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or MicroStation.

  • This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Kansas City, MO . The selected candidate must be available to work in Kansas City, MO on a scheduled basis.
  • Offered rate of compensation ( Missouri locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range is $55,030-75,666/yr .
