Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our team located in Oklahoma City, OK.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1 year of Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Associate Level 2: Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES – ENTRY LEVEL 1:
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES - ASSOCIATE LEVEL 2:
- Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
- Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
