Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate from a degree program in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Sustainability or a relevant field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated and have a proactive approach to work.
  • Prior internships, projects or volunteer work in digitalization fields are desirable.

Responsibilities:

This role will offer exposure to a variety of EHS regulations and provide an opportunity to develop your analytical and problem-solving skills. Also, it will allow you to contribute positively towards fostering a safe and healthy work environment. You’ll be working hand-in-hand with experienced EHS practitioners and other key personnel in the organization, providing you with an ideal platform for career growth in the health and safety industry.

  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems, and procedures.
  • Monitoring hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, as well as management of regulated substances like Hazardous substances, Flammable materials.
  • Assisting in coordinating and delivering EHS training programs to employees, organizing of various site wide safety & sustainability awareness campaigns.
  • Assisting in emergency response planning and drills.
  • Assisting in data management & analytics for safety & sustainability performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Be part of the sustainability team to work on water, energy improvement & carbon net zero projects.
