QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related field
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and influencing capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of environmental management standards and legislation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in remote locations with varying schedules, including occasional night or weekend work
SKILLS/ABILITIES/ATTRIBUTES:
- Environmental Professional designation (e.g., P. Ag., P. Bio., P. Geol., P. Eng.) preferred
- High ethical standards and initiative
- Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented attitude

- Maintain detailed statistics, records, and field notes
- Evaluate environmental conditions at project sites to identify potential impacts from construction activities
- Collaborate with construction teams to assess environmental risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Conduct environmental safety training and safety orientations for workers
- Prepare environmental inspection reports and management plans
- Interpret environmental documentation and ensure compliance with regulations
- Advise management on issues that may affect ongoing work
- Promote safe working conditions and enforce environmental safety regulations
