JOB SUMMARY
As an Environmental Analyst at JESL, you will be an integral part of our mission to deliver high-quality environmental assessment projects. You will be responsible for preparing technical bids, managing data collection processes, performing advanced statistical analyses, and crafting clear and concise reports.
- Minimum Qualification: Degree
- Experience Level: Entry level
- Experience Length: 1 year
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or natural sciences, Chemical, Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Between 1 - 3 years’ experience in relevant field.
PERSONAL SKILLS:
- Excellent project management and financial management skills required.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
- Strong numeracy, written and verbal communication skills and the aptitude to rationally explain, explore and discuss environmental issues.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis software, particularly SPSS for data interpretation.
- The capacity to work in a dynamic and pressured multidisciplinary team environment as well as sometimes independently

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the delivery of environmental assessment projects.
- Prepare technical bids and proposals that outline project scope, methodology, and deliverables.
- Determine appropriate data collection methods for research projects, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Collect field data and utilize advanced statistical analysis tools to compute and interpret results.
- Produce EIA documents, including Screening letters/reports, Scoping letters/reports, Environmental Statements (ESs), Non-technical Summaries, Regulation Responses, ES Addenda, responses to planning conditions, etc.
- Write, review, and edit reports that adhere to established guidelines and convey complex information effectively
- Collaborate with environmental experts to develop innovative solutions based on data-driven findings.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and advancements in environmental assessment techniques.
- Attend meetings and represent the organization on environmental management-related subjects/issues.
