Description:
Wallace Montgomery is currently hiring for a full-time Environmental Compliance Manager to inspect our projects for compliance with state and federal environmental regulations in the Hunt Valley, MD area. This engineering position earns a competitive wage of $36 to $38 per hour.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL COMPLIANCE MANAGER
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, natural resources, environmental studies, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to work outdoors in variable weather conditions
Knowledge and practical experience with the following are preferred, but not required:
- Project team coordination
- Construction methods and practices
- Experience conducting plan reviews and reading construction specifications
- Hazardous Materials
- Highway Safety
- Field experience in assessing natural resources
- Field experience on construction projects
- Environmental regulations, permitting, and agencies’ roles
- C-107 Construction Runoff Control Inspection Form (C-107)
Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) Erosion & Sediment Control Contractors Certification (ESCCC) in addition to other VDOT-specific certifications would be a plus. If you meet the qualifications above, we’d love to work with you. Keep reading to find out more about the job!
