Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Consultant to work on a large construction project on one of AWN’s key client’s sites in the Kildare. The role will involve environmental/waste compliance auditing and reporting. Candidates should have good people skills, be driven, and also work well in a team environment.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum BSc or BA (Hons) degree in environmental science or related discipline.
  • Prior experience beneficial but not essential
  • Enthusiastic “self starter” comfortable working on a busy construction project
  • Excellent communication skills - comfortable liaising, meeting and dealing with clients, contractors and other team members on a day to day basis
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Full Clean Driving Licence or Working towards

Responsibilities:

  • Management of waste management programme for a large construction project together with the AWN site-based team;
  • Waste and environmental auditing and support;
  • Contributing to the on-going development and improvement of environmental management processes and procedures for the project;
  • Training and awareness; and
  • Develop working relationships with client and aim to obtain repeat business from client.
