Boeing Test & Evaluation is looking for an Environmental Control Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA. Technicians in this job receive, inspect, kit, dispense, deliver and maintain an inventory of chemicals and supplies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- 1+ years of experience working with hazardous materials
- Currently possess a valid driver’s license
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 1+ years of experience executing data entry, retrieval and inventory management
- High school diploma or GED
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an information resource on hazardous materials through maintaining a working knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations
- Provide proper waste disposal and processing of hazardous waste materials
- Respond to environmental hazard spills, working closely with Boeing and outside agencies emergency response units
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
