Responsibilities:
The individual in this position will lead and complete technical tasks for remediation projects. Typical projects range from concept development and pre-design investigations through remediation system design, construction, and operation. Specific experience and remedial focus areas include corrective measures/feasibility studies, data management and evaluation, interaction with contractors, preparation of detailed design plans and specifications, remediation construction bid evaluations, brownfields remediation and redevelopment, in-situ and ex-situ soil and groundwater remediation, vapor intrusion evaluations/mitigation; regulatory compliance; construction management; and documentation and reporting by applicable environmental laws and regulations. Work also involves selecting, coordinating, and managing subcontractors, estimating costs, and managing the scope, schedule, and budget for various project tasks. Technical report writing and interaction with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies will also play an important role in the candidate’s success.
