Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a suitable and practical OHSMS, and EMS
  • Prepare Health and Safety strategies, action plans and oversee the development of internal policies
  • Ensure that fit-for-purpose health, safety and risk management systems are in place and fully implemented across the site.
  • Lead new H&S projects for new manufacturing investments and changes
  • Prepare and maintain Site Specific Method Statements
  • Ensure that all assessments and requirements under legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals and to maintain records of the same.
  • Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s operations.
  • Ensure that HCP has a SOP (Safe Operating Procedure) for every manufacturing process and that Risk Assessments are established for these tasks as required by law.
  • Establish, monitor and maintain a regular audit review process for all RAs and SOPs
  • Ensure Chemical Agent assessment for all hazardous substances used on site.
  • Review and interpret safety documentation being submitted by Contractors (i.e. site Risk Assessments and Method Statements etc.)
  • Ensure the health and safety monitoring and auditing systems are correctly implemented and carried out in a professional manner.
  • Ensure that safety inspections are carried out in the workplace in the presence of those appropriate
  • Ensure training records are maintained and monitored to ensure relevant training is delivered and recorded. Identify additional training needs within the Company.
