Responsibilities:

As our new Environmental Permitting Consultant you will contribute towards creating a sustainable future and work on our inspiring projects and innovative solutions that aim to set the standard among our peers. We will consider remote/hybrid working as an option with a willingness to travel for internal/external meetings. Ramboll operates a flexible working policy, and with this you will be part of an exciting team of experts, who respect each other and work towards a common goal.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Critically reviewing and interpreting EU and Italian environmental regulations
  • Assisting in preparing major and minor permit applications (e.g. AIA, AUA, etc.)
  • Assisting in preparing studies under Italia Environmental Impact Assessment legislation (screening di VIA, SIA, VINCA, etc.)
  • Assisting clients in maintaining their operation in compliance with existing environmental permits (air emissions, waste management, wastewater control, etc.)
  • Preparing emissions calculations for industrial sources
  • Conducting compliance assessment against of Best Available Techniques for various industries (Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Waste Treatment, etc.)
  • Conducting air quality reviews of emissions reduction or control
  • Conducting reviews of industrial wastewater management according to Italian National and regional legislation
