The Jacobs Planning and Environmental Approvals team delivers complex and technically challenging local and national projects for clients involved in a wide range of infrastructure and development activities, including public utilities, large-scale environmental initiatives, renewable energy projects, transport infrastructure, resources and energy projects and large scale environmental management programs. We are seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to join our Auckland based Planning and Environmental Approvals team. Primary responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of planning and consenting projects, often working collaboratively with a range of disciplines; contributing to our award winning strategies through working alongside our sales team, develop and implement consenting strategies, and work with industry leaders in planning and consenting.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Tertiary qualification in planning or other relevant degree is essential
- Demonstrated success in preparing and obtaining resource consents and related planning approvals, including notices Notices of requirement Requirement
- An interest in infrastructure
- Ability to work individually and as part of a wider collaborative team
- Business acumen
- Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
- Excellent report writing abilities
