SKILLS, PROFICIENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ of experience
- Demonstrated ability in the environmental field, with a focus on consulting work, skills development, and project management experience
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) or Professional Geologist (P. Geo.) designation or eligible
- Ability to review and sign reports
- Ability to manage and/or contribute to multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail
- Ability for travel within the Province of Ontario for site inspections and client meetings
- Exceptional time management skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to effectively express technical information to multiple audience
- Experience in the nuclear industry is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Manage small and medium size environmental projects including being the technical lead, being responsible for client communication, coordinating daily activities of a fixed-task project-based team, checking work, budgeting, and invoicing
- Work on large scale multi-disciplinary projects as the environmental subject matter lead
- Work on design projects
- Prepare project related technical documents including environmental reports, technical specifications, work plans, cost estimates, and construction drawings for review
- Development and submission of proposals
- Mentorship of junior staff
