Environmental Services Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for the operation, leadership and management of assigned environmental service business. Utilizes critical thinking skills and advanced knowledge to ensure departmental focus and vision is aligned with the hospital and Intermountain business plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated leadership experience, including effective coaching, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, supervise, and delegate for a facility requiring services 24 hours per day, seven days per week.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with employees at all levels in the organization, and communicate effectively in meetings and group settings.
• Demonstrated computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, internet, and the ability to learn new software.
• Experience in managing departmental budgets and contractsDemonstrated quality and process improvement and effective project management skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
• International Executive Housekeeping Association (IEHA) Certification
• Joint Commission experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting
