As Environmental, Social & Governance Controller - Vice President in ESG Reporting and Controller Team you will develop strategic solutions and provide value-add analysis supporting the firm’s ESG reporting. As the Environmental, Social and Governance landscape evolves and becomes increasingly important to the firm, our (Line of Business) business activities and external stakeholders (clients, shareholders, regulators), the firm has established a Firmwide ESG Reporting & Controller Team to manage end to end controls, consistency, and accountability for Environment, Social and Governance internal and external reporting processes across the firm.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, CAPABILITIES, AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
- Previous ESG knowledge and / or data management and governance experience
- Experience with business intelligence tools (Alteryx), strategic automation, machine learning, and AI
- Present well to senior and global business heads
- Able to forge strong internal relationships across a broad range of functions
- Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with high degree of independence
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to both define and deliver on business requirements to conclusion through a strategic agenda across multiple groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail with logical thought process

Responsibilities:
- Implements business strategy and identify opportunities for strategic data sources and sourcing methods of ESG data
- Drives key initiatives for data consumption of third-party data needed for ESG reporting
- Identifies, escalates, and mitigates business risks through analyzing data quality and building an issue management framework
- Partners with the business on reporting requirements and implementation of tactical solutions and strategic technology and infrastructure projects to prepare the business to meet the requirements of an ever-evolving ESG disclosure landscape
- Partners with the relevant external service/ infrastructure providers
- Represents business in respective internal/external working groups
