  Based in the CBD, Auckland Council’s Specialist Unit is a multi-disciplinary team within the Council’s Regulatory Services Directorate. The unit provides specialist advice to support the Council’s regulatory functions, primarily relating to the Resource Management Act (RMA), the Auckland Unitary Plan (AUP) and National Environmental Standards for Freshwater (NES-FW). A key function of the unit is to provide specialist assessment and advice on environmental effects with particular emphasis on Resource Consents…
  We also play a role assisting our colleagues in the monitoring and compliance teams, influencing policy, and designing and providing training to Regulatory staff (planners, compliance staff and development engineers). We are privileged to work on projects across the entire Auckland region and are enthusiastic about preventing and minimising negative environmental and health effects whilst promoting sustainable development in our fast-growing city.

Salary range $82,620 - $97,200 (depending on skillset and experience)
Our employer KiwiSaver contribution is additional to base salary offered.
