Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply relevant EU legislation – coming from the EU Green Deal – to company operations. EU Taxonomy, EPBD, CSRD.
- Implement the requirement of the legislation into processes across all organisational levels.
- Ensure processes are in place in order to facilitate other departments to report according to the EU taxonomy and other sustainability requirements.
- Work closely with the Sustainability Reporting and Financial Controlling teams to ensure that reporting is done in accordance with the sustainability regulations. Facilitate the reporting process, however, note that reporting itself is done by other departments as relevant.
- Ensure processes with contractors in the transition to circular economy.
- Translate complex legislation into actionable steps.
- Work independently, driving and owning the sustainability projects independently.
- Work in PowerBI with large datasets ensuring high data quality to the reporting team.
- Short-term: main focus on EU taxonomy implementation of processes and compliance.
- Long-term: Forecasting organizational need and strategy for upcoming requirements, translating our strategy into operational actions to drive our sustainable mindset on all levels in the organization.
