Description:

ECC is seeking candidates for an Environmental Technician I position. This office and field position is primarily responsible for helping plan, select, coordinate, scientific and technical services to support environmental remediation and hazardous waste management project’s Scope of Work, to be done in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. In this position you will:

  • Under direct supervision, prepare various daily, weekly and monthly reports;
  • Environmental monitoring;
  • Analyze environmental/site/material data;
  • Completing waste transfer manifests;
  • Support the Project Manager in various field tasks;
  • Provide miscellaneous field support tasks (e.g tracking activity, site photographs);
  • Complete related documentation (field reports, logs, meeting minutes, online submittals) in a timely and accurate manner;
  • In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position.

  • Perform multiple concurrent tasks and meet timelines, as directed
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Education: High School diploma and Vocational training in environmental technology, analytical methods, toxicology, regulatory compliance, or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

ECC targeted hourly range is $24.00 to $28.85 per hour.
Actual hourly rate offered may be affected by education, training, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, and location.
