We currently have a temporary vacancy available that will see you working on a discreet project focussing on how the agency undertakes its recruitment process, from conception through to commencement.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Key duties of the roles include: . Investigation, review and application of best practice recruitment principles for implementation in a public service setting. . Development and implementation of HR project, policies, processes, guidance material, key business improvements and strategies relating to the delivery of recruitment services. . Establishing and fostering professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders and relevant networks. . Manging change, identifying and implementing process improvements and creating efficiencies. . At times possibly leading a small team, setting tasks, priorities and workflows and building team capability through coaching, performance feedback and encouraging development opportunities. . Providing accurate and specialised HR advice on complex people matters as well as HR departmental policies and procedures. . Partnering with business areas and senior leaders to manage complex matters with expertise, sensitivity and discretion.
THE SKILLS & CAPABILITIES YOU NEED TO PERFORM THE ROLE:
As an Assistant Manager, you will have strong leadership skills, strong attention to detail, a sound analytical ability and a drive to innovate and challenge the status quo. You will be a team player with strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to foster relationships to deliver high quality advice and support to stakeholders. In addition, you will be innovative, a problem-solver and committed to delivering exceptional service to the agency.
